Ingredients
  

For the Apples

  • 2 large apples Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil for vegan option
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or maple syrup for natural sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wash, core, and slice the apples into 1/4-inch thick wedges.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the apple slices with melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg (if using), and salt until well coated.
  • Place the apples in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apples are golden brown and slightly crispy on the edges.
  • Serve warm as a snack, dessert topping, or with yogurt, oatmeal, or ice cream.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, cook an additional 2 minutes. Perfect for adding to breakfast bowls, pancakes, or just enjoying on their own!
