Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Wash, core, and slice the apples into 1/4-inch thick wedges.
In a mixing bowl, toss the apple slices with melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg (if using), and salt until well coated.
Place the apples in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apples are golden brown and slightly crispy on the edges.
Serve warm as a snack, dessert topping, or with yogurt, oatmeal, or ice cream.
Notes
For a crunchier texture, cook an additional 2 minutes. Perfect for adding to breakfast bowls, pancakes, or just enjoying on their own!
