Instructions
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Spread a generous amount of butter on the cut sides of each croissant half.
If using, drizzle a little honey or maple syrup over the butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Place the croissant halves, buttered side down, onto the heated skillet.
Toast for 2-3 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt for an extra flavor boost.
Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
