Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 4 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Roll-Ups

  • 8 slices white bread crusts removed
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter for frying

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  • Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin. Spread a thin layer of the filling on one side of each slice, then roll up tightly.
  • In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  • Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the roll-ups until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Roll the warm roll-ups in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  • Serve warm and enjoy! Optionally, drizzle with maple syrup or icing.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use brioche or challah bread instead of white bread. You can also add a drizzle of cream cheese icing for an extra sweet touch.
