Ingredients
  

For the Crust

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg

For the Gooey Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until a thick dough forms. Press evenly into the bottom of the baking dish.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter, mixing until combined.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the gooey filling over the crust and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until the edges are golden but the center is slightly jiggly.
  • Let cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of caramel before serving. These bars taste even better the next day!
