Ingredients
  

For the Croissants

  • 4 large croissants

For the Cookie Dough Filling

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed cookies Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, or your favorite

For the Topping

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in vanilla extract and egg yolk until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the butter mixture.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips and crushed cookies, then set the cookie dough aside.
  • Slice croissants in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket.
  • Spoon a generous amount of cookie dough inside each croissant and gently press to close.
  • Arrange stuffed croissants on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, just until the croissants are golden and the cookie dough is slightly gooey.
  • Warm heavy cream and drizzle over the croissants before serving.
  • Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy warm!

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with melted chocolate.
